Lindfield Village Green

Currently an on-grade parking area nestled behind the row of existing heritage shopfronts on the eastern side of Lindfield Railway Station, Kur-ring-gai Council sought a 'vision' for its transformation into a new civic + community hub. As part of their 'Activate Lindfield' initiative, Council selected three multidisciplinary teams to prepare concept designs fit for consultation with the local community. In collaboration with Melbourne based Outlines and  Lymesmith and supported by a diverse and talented sub consultant team, our design consciously references the natural and built heritage of Lindfield to create a robust, considered, yet playful gathering space for its Community to engage and belong.

“Winning the jersey of Community favourite saluted our ambition to create place that 'feels at home' in Lindfield and a space where Lindfield's residents ‘feel at home’. ”
